APCOM together with regional Asia and the Pacific community partners; APN+, APTN and ILGA Asia unveil a much anticipated list of honourees for the up-coming HERO Awards 2024.
Standing for HIV, Equality and Rights, the HERO Awards is an annual fundraising event in Bangkok, which acknowledges outstanding HIV and LGBTQI advocates and allies from across Asia and the Pacific.
“As a regional organisation that enables trans and gender diverse people in the Asia Pacific region, in 2024 we want to strengthen our ability to organise and do advocacy across many areas that affect our lives, such as legal gender recognition, health, stigma, discrimination and violence, and our right to freedom of movement, education and social protection.”
