Come and celebrate gender diversity and the LGBTQIA+ community at the Pride Wave installation by Tinder and APCOM!

The Pride Wave at centralwOrld, in Bangkok – it is one of the largest shopping complexes in the world. The installation measures seven meters in length and more than three meters high. Inspired by the 2018 Progress Pride Flag and designed in consultation with APCOM, an Asia-Pacific not-for-profit advocacy for equality, the colors of the Pride Wave represent an empowering and inclusive society where everyone is included and will be in place from June 1-30.

“It’s important to raise awareness of equal rights for all and that’s why working with Tinder on this partnership is so meaningful. We’re very proud that the Pride Wave will represent the diverse LGBTQIA+ community in Thailand and help to bring people together to celebrate Pride Month 2022,”

said Midnight Poonkasetwattana, Executive Director, APCOM.

APCOM is the advisory partner to Tinder for the Pride Wave installation.

This rainbow art piece will be welcoming guests to snap cool pictures with it, and you can even do your own catwalk on the rainbow runway throughout the month of Pride in June.

Recognising young Thai adults are in a diverse and fluid range of relationships, Tinder empowers its members with choice and has available 30 different gender identities and nine sexual orientations in the app. More recently, PRIDE has been added as an Interest and members can add it to their profile to join in the PRIDE celebrations and show support for the LGBTQIA+ community.
