The 20th International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2014) was held in Melbourne, Australia, from 20 to 25 July 2014, attracting nearly 12,000 participants from almost 200 countries. AIDS 2014 finished with thousands of delegates endorsing the Melbourne Declaration. Through the Declaration, APCOM and other delegates reaffirm their unwavering commitment to equality, universal access to health care and treatment services, and support for the inherent dignity and rights of all human beings.
APCOM was strongly represented and presented in AIDS 2014, through participation in and organisation of the pre-conferences and plenary and satellite sessions during the main conference as well as through the own APCOM booth in the Global Community Village.
