APCOM Executive Director’s Engagement at AIDS 2024

APCOM’s Executive Director Midnight will be representing APCOM and Asia and the Pacific community advocates in numerous activities in the up-coming 25th International AIDS Conference in Munich, Germany. 

Midnight has been leading APCOM since 2011, and celebrated his 10th anniversary during the pandemic in 2021. He was named on the prestigious list of 16 HIV Advocates to Watch in 2016, nominated for the Omololu Falobi Award for Excellence in HIV Prevention Research Community Advocacy, named one of the International Association of Providers of AIDS Care 150 (IAPAC 150) as one of the pioneers for the AIDS response, and received Tatler Asia Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow recognition in 2020 for advocating for the rights of LGBTQ communities in Asia and the Pacific region, and The Future List 2020 as Thailand’s Human Rights advocate.

At the 2016 UN High-Level Meeting on Ending AIDS, Midnight delivered a powerful closing statement highlighting how key populations were left behind in the adopted political declaration.
