
Community-Based Monitoring for improved HIV services
APCOM continues to provide technical support to partner organizations in Bhutan, Laos, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, and Sri Lanka on Community-Based Monitoring (CBM), using the tool, A Guide to Implementing Community Based Monitoring. In particular, APCOM has provided assistance to Youth For Health in Mongolia on the CBM report development process. Besides this, APCOM conducted the following activities to contribute to increasing the knowledge/ ideas of country partner organizations on CBM intervention programme;
- Online CBM orientation meeting was conducted with CHIas (community-based organization) in Laos). Stakeholders from CHAS, FHI 360, CCM joined this orientation meeting and shared their opinions on how to effectively monitor and assess the quality of HIV services through CBM.
- Online CBM training was conducted with Family Planning Association (FPA) and Heart to Heart organizations. Provided an overview of CBM process, methodology, and tools.
