Calling on Compassion: Update on our fundraising efforts for LGBTQI and HIV community

APCOM launched two campaigns to support community-based organisations, gay men, transgender people, sex workers, and LGBTQI communities in Asia Pacific, and in Thailand who are significantly affected by the COVID-19 outbreak and government lock downs. Here’s our updates:

Launched: 10 April by our staff donating salaries, and inviting others to join

Funds raised so far: THB 41,701.20 (approx. USD 1,400)

We shall be making fund transfer to two organizations, in Pakistan and Indonesia.

19 Baht to fight COVID-19

Launched: 24 April using our HIV testing campaign TestBKK as a way to get people to donate 19 baht (60 cents) and tag their friends to do the same

Funds raised so far: THB 6,045.27 (approx. USD 200)

APCOM is part of the Thai HIV and LGBTQI coalition, and together will decide whom to support.
