Capacity Strengthening

Engaging the private sector is a relatively new strategy for our country partners and for many organizations focused on LGBTQI issues. To contribute to the capacities of LGBTQI organizations in the four countries to engage the private sector, APCOM and our country partners conducted workshops titled ‘LGBTQI Inclusion: Identifying Entry Points in Engaging the Private Sector’.

The workshops were designed specifically to enable the participants to be familiar with the private sector in their countries and identifying strategies/entry points for increased engagement between LGBTQI organisations and the private/business sector.

For each workshop per country, 25 -30 representatives from LGBTQI organisations were targeted to participate.
