Happy couples tell how they felt on their big day

By February 14, 2025 Showcase

As part of the historic celebration, APCOM partnered with the local Bangna District Office where LGBTQI+ couples can register their marriage on 23 January 2025.

APCOM was really excited to see all of you realizing your dream and marking today as your historical day of Marriage Equality in Thailand with us.

We invited them to capture their big moments with a romantic photoshoot at our “Celebration of Equality” balloon backdrop. After taking a photo, every couple received exclusive giveaways from us, such as rose bouquets, gift vouchers for the couple’s spa & massage, and rainbow flags. This helped kick off the beautiful journey of love and happiness.

APCOM has been working on the LGBTQI+ rights in Asia and the Pacific for a decade and this is another big step in Thailand where we have been through together with Thai LGBTQI+ coalitions including government, public sector, private sector, diplomatic missions, NGOs, CSOs, and the communities. However, there is a lot more to do for LGBTQI+ rights in our region where we need to keep advancing on. But now let’s celebrate Marriage Equality in Thailand for all over 1754 couples who have registered in Thailand on this historic day.

Here are some of the memes of the 7 happy couples who can be assured that their union is enshrined under Thai law and join us at the event “APCOM X Bang Na District Office for Celebration of Equality!

Thank you Bangna District Office for seeing the importance of Marriage Equality and let us be part of the event.
Looking forward to our future collaborations.
