Today NAPUD joined INPUD with Asian Regional KP Networks: APN+, APNSW, APTN, Youth Lead, APCOM alongside 12 networks and organisation to release a joint statement the Government of Singapore to immediately halt the impending execution of Nagaenthran K Dharmalingam and calls upon UN entities, the European Union, and all relevant stakeholders to take urgent action. He was sentenced to death in 2011 for importing heroin in order to pay for his father’s heart surgery. Nagaenthran is neurodivergent and his family has found it nearly impossible to meet with him. His execution is scheduled for 10th November.

We take this opportunity to thank all those who agreed to be part of this joint statement and urge you all to kindly share the joint statement widely within and outside of your networks through your websites, other social media handles.
Let us flood the Government of Singapore with our excessive statements in our effort to suspend the execution of Nagenthran K Dharmalingam.
