Since the Covid-19 pandemic time,
we have been more attuned to our own mental health needs, and the wellbeing of our staff.

Being part of a safe, positive community is vital for our mental health and wellbeing,
and APCOM started a monthly wellbeing activity for our staff usually taking place
on the last Friday of the month.

We are proud to have been able to continue the staff wellbeing activity since the pandemic time,
with the activities led, coordinated and organized by our own staff.
And we are proud to continue making an effort to prioritize the mental health and wellbeing of our staff,
raising awareness of mental health and how we need to look after it, and how important it is to get help if you are struggling.

Our staff candidly shares with you their reflections from the monthly wellbeing activity,
the bonding time with colleagues, ensuring that our staff has the time to rest,
recharge, and recenter.

On 20 June 2025, as part of our Monthly Staff Wellbeing Activity and in celebration of Pride Month, the APCOM team stepped into a world of vibrant self-reflection by visiting the thought-provoking exhibition “What if We Had No Pronouns?” at MMAD – MunMun Art Destination, Seacon Square Srinakharin. This exciting outing allowed our staff to engage directly with the show’s core message: that gender and sexuality—much like art itself—are meant to be fluid, powerful, and limitless. This shared experience provided a unique opportunity for our team to bond while challenging societal binaries, encouraging open dialogue, and embracing a wider, more colorful perspective on human identity and expression.

Featuring the works of five distinct artists, the show acts as a vibrant challenge to traditional binaries to understanding of human identity. The diverse artworks visually encapsulate this theme, celebrating our shared humanity and inviting us to perceive the world through a dramatically wider, more colorful lens.

Gender Fluidity: The Core Reflection

The exhibition title, “What if We Had No Pronouns?”, directly targets the heart of the conversation: gender fluidity. Pronouns (he, she, they, etc.) are essential linguistic tools for identification, but they also function as one of the primary ways society enforces a rigid gender binary—the idea that people are strictly male or female. By asking us to imagine a world without them, the exhibition encourages us to see identity not as a fixed state, but as a spectrum or a dynamic flow.

Gender fluidity describes a dynamic identity where a person’s gender expression or internal sense of self may shift over time or context. It’s a rejection of the idea that one must choose and stick to one side of the ‘male’ or ‘female’ coin. Like the art in the show—which uses diverse media, colors, and forms to communicate—gender is presented as an equally diverse and customizable form of self-expression. The works demonstrate that when we remove the limits of binary thinking, we unlock a potential for self-actualization that is limitless, powerful, and truly human. The exhibition stands as a vibrant testament to the beauty found in occupying the spaces between the categories.

Of course, ending the journey with yummy food is essential for any great staff outing! Following the deep and vibrant discussions sparked by “What if We Had No Pronouns?,” the APCOM team gathered for a delightful meal. Sharing laughter and delicious food together provided the perfect way to wind down the Mental Health Activity, grounding the abstract ideas of fluidity and expression in the simple, shared pleasure of connection. It was a wonderful celebration of both our individual identities and the strong, colorful bond of the APCOM team.
