APCOM hosted the first Thailand LGBTQI+ Biz Forum in 2020 with the aim to promote diversity and inclusion for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex (LGBTQI) communities in Thailand. Due to the uniqueness of the event that brings different stakeholders together to advance LGBTQI social and economic inclusion, we have been holding the Thailand LGBTQI+ Biz Forum on an annual basis. 

2nd LGBTQI+ Biz Forum 2021 – (held online due to Covid-19)

3rd LGBTQI+ Biz Forum 2022

The 4th Thailand LGBTQI+ Biz Forum 2023 will be held over three days during the Pride Month celebrations, 16-18 June 2023 at the Riverside Plaza, Bangkok, Thailand promises an exciting opportunity to further the social and economic inclusion of LGBTQI in Thailand given the recent elections. We expect the Forum to strengthen networking and collaboration among LGBTQI community, private sectors, and other stakeholders. We hope that this platform will also promote LGBTQI social and economic inclusion and will be a template for our partners in other countries to create a similar platform.

Objectives:

  1. Be a venue for linking and learning about diversity and inclusion across multiple sectors including the government, private sectors, diplomatic missions, UN agencies and development agencies, and LGBQTI organizations.
  2. To support relevant issues regarding LGBTQI community in Thailand to advance and sustain their work.
  3. To ensure wider reach to the general populations of the LGBTQI community in Thailand and barriers towards access to their rights as citizens.

Activities: 

The LGBTQI+ Biz Forum offers a range of networking and learning opportunities and promises lively atmosphere and activities, including: 

  • LGBTQI community booths and market
  • LGBTQI Job Fair
  • Panel discussions
  • Photo exhibition
  • Workshops
