Thailand to continue efforts to work with the community towards world free of HIV/AIDS

Thai official pledges “…the country will do more than consolidate previous successes”

Deputy Thai permanent representative to the UN Jakkrit Srivali said here Monday that his country would continue to do its part to combat the scourge of HIV/ AIDS.

“We have come far in our struggle to overcome HIV/AIDS,” he said. “It has been a long and difficult road, but the international community can count on us to continue on the path, shoulder to shoulder with partner countries and organizations, until we all arrive at our common destination, a world free of HIV/ AIDS.”
