It’s another fun-packed Pride Month as Thailand celebrates its one year anniversary of marriage equality—a historic milestone that positions the country as the first in Southeast Asia to legally recognize same-sex marriage. Recent data, such as a study by Agoda, suggests that recognizing same-sex marriage could benefit Thailand with an additional 4 million foreign visitors per year, creating approximately $2 billion in economic value within two years.
“This year’s Pride Month, we are celebrating Thailand’s first year of marriage equality. Working closely with our partners demonstrates our commitment to advance LGBTQI+ rights and to see Thailand being the first country in Asia to host the WorldPride in 2030.”
While this achievement marks a significant step forward, legal recognition alone does not automatically translate into lived equality, equitable economic participation, or inclusive systems. In a context of global political uncertainty and increasing scrutiny on the private sector’s social impact.

Come and join our vibrant parade at Bangkok Pride. APCOM theme will be HEROes in celebration of our 10th TENAC10US HERO Awards this year. The interpretation is up to you – come dressed up as your hero, or be the hero that you are.
Special guests Fame, Toy, and Noeylin will also be joining the parade alongside APCOM staff and our community members.

The Frame of Pride 2026 exhibition will be more than just a display of beautiful art. It is a space for reclaiming the identity and image of LGBTQI+ people through a new perspective. Throughout history, mainstream media and even within the LGBTQ+ community itself have often reinforced the “perfect body standard.” These standards are often limited to youthfulness, a fit physique, or specific ethnic beauty standards. This narrowness directly impacts the mental health of communities, leading to body dysmorphia, social anxiety, and feelings of isolation, particularly among vulnerable groups, people with disabilities, and ethnically diverse communities.

PrideShow 2026 is Thailand’s landmark LGBTQ+ business and culture festival at BEAT Active (inside BITEC Bangna) supported by TCEB and TAT. The event features B2B ESG forums, DEI workshops, and Pink Economy bootcamps, and drag takeover featuring 11 queens across Asia. Supported by TCEB and TAT.
On Friday 26 June, APCOM will join community organisation, Rainbow Sky Association of Thailand (RSAT) and Transtalents to bring issues on Pink Economy, Business and Human Rights Inclusion.
Furthermore, APCOM will have an exclusive exhibition of “HERO Awards’ Journey” in celebration of our 10th TENAC10US HERO Awards this year, on digital screens during 26-27 June.
